The 2003/2004 season saw Arsenal set a team record that was reported across the planet. Its not every day a professional sporting team goes an entire season without losing a single game but this is what Arsenal achieved, having played a full season of 38 games that ended undefeated in every game, WINNING 26 of those games and drawing the other 12. The 38th and last game saw Arsenal losing 1-0 at home to Leicester at half time before turning the game on its head for a 2-1 win in the second half. Arsenal scored 73 Premier League goals conceding 26 in a never to be forgotten incredible season. Arsenal went on to win the Premier League and the icing on the cake was a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane (25-04-2004) which clinched the title with four games to spare.

On the 24/10/2004 it took a very controversial penalty at Manchester United's Old Trafford ground and a late goal to finally end the unbeaten run in the 50th game 2-0. Without the referee getting duped into giving a penalty that never was, it would have been interesting to see how much further the record could have gone, because they would not have lost that game in Manchester without that scandalous decision
